LDM Foods Carrier Requirements

Dear Valued Carrier:

LDM Foods in Yorkton, Saskatchewan is currently looking for commercial carriers to deliver inbound canola seed. We require your assistance in completing the following information. This information will be required annually to ensure registration with our system.

1. Evidence of Workers Compensation Coverage – WCB Number and letter of good standing.

2. Evidence of Liability Insurance to a minimum of $2,000,000.

3. Evidence of Cargo Insurance to a minimum of $32,000.

4. Copy of GST number.

5. Current Dollars/mt rates in 10 km increments 0-250 km.

6. Evidence of operating authority for the applicable province(s) and states that they operate in.

We require this information to enable use to deduct freight for your company. Please ensure you have included all records and that they are valid for 2009 prior to sending. You may reply to LDM Foods by fax, mail or email.

Carriers will then be selected for specific work based on economics, availability, customer service, and safety.
