LDM FOODS MEN'S SASKATCHEWAN CURLING TOUR
LDM Foods was the proud sponsor of the Men's Saskatchewan Curling Tour held on Nov. 13th to 15th this year hosting 16 teams. Congratulations to team Jackson who took home the gold and proudly wears their LDM hats in the winner's picture. Jackson won the final over a local favorite team, Derbowka. Congratulations to all the teams, and the Yorkton Curling Club for a job well done in organizing this great event.

Summer is finally here and the plant continues to develop. Along with summer comes the summer sports to sponsor. This year LDM Foods has chosen to sponsor the Yorkton Cardinals Baseball so look for our logo in the field. On July 3rd 2009 Cameron Marchand threw out the first pitch on behalf of LDM Foods at the Yorkton Cardinals Ball Game.

Dollars For Scholars
Golf seems to be a good thing for LDM Foods and we are proud to sponsor the Dollars for Scholars hosted by the Parkland Regional College. Moneys raised from this event go to help students get the education they need to further their career through earned scholarships.
Job Fair!
LDM Foods recently hosted a job fair at the Ramada Inn on Feb. 6th and 7th. We were extremely impressed with the turn out of qualified potential employees. 253 applicants came through our event and 210 were inteviewed. We wish to thank all the applicants who did apply and will be contacting the successful ones before March 7th. We also wish to thank all the people involved in the job fair as it takes a great TEAM to make events like this successful. Part of our Team included the help from Parkland Regional College, Ramada Inn, Louis Dreyfus Commodities Calgary and of course our Local Team here at the Plant.

LDM Foods was a proud Sponsor of the Charity Golf Classic for 2009. This year the entire golf tournament raised almost 110,000 dollars, a record amount. Of that total our LDM Foods team raised 12,800 and were in the top 15 fundraisers. To the right see our teams that took in a wonderful day of golf and good fun!
